Its now been a little over a year since BP’s Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded, killing 12 men and leaking millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. The oil might have disappeared from the headlines, but it certainly hasn’t disappeared from the water or from the shores, and millions of Gulf Coast residents are still waiting to be made whole from this disaster. But there’s still a long battle ahead, and that’s why its so important to have people like Antonia Juhasz who are fighting everyday to expose the lies and negligence of BP, and she’spoke with Mike Papantonio recently about her fight, as well as her new book “Black Tide: The Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill.”
