The Republicans are willing to do anything to reduce the deficit in America – as long as they don’t have to raise taxes on millionaires and billionaires, or multinational corporations. But they have absolutely no problem sticking it to the remaining 99% of the country by slashing Social Security, pensions, and other social safety net programs. But if we want to talk about deficit reduction – seriously talk about it – then tax increases have to be on the table, and Mike Papantonio spoke with Congressman Bruce Braley from Iowa recently about his plan to help bring down the deficit.
