Hillary Clinton is already emerging as the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for the 2016 presidential election.  She has the name recognition and the ties to major financial backers to make her a lock for the nomination.  But America cannot afford another four years of Wall Street Democrat leadership, and the American public needs to wake up and realize that Clinton is a bad choice.

Clinton gets a major boost in the form of GOP extremism.  Moderate Republicans no longer associate themselves with the extremist views of the Tea Party.  Because of this, they will be seeking out a candidate who is not a full-fledged progressive. Clinton fits this mold perfectly.

A Clinton presidency would mean more of the same for America.  We would still see banking regulations written by the industry that do absolutely nothing to protect consumers.  We would not see any prosecutions for the Wall Street criminals who tanked our economy and continue to rip off Americans.  We would see absolutely no change in campaign finance laws that allow corporations to buy and sell politicians as if they were commodities.

Progressives should not look to Hillary for solutions to the problems that have been plaguing our country for the last 14 years.  Instead, they need to look at someone like Elizabeth Warren who isn’t afraid to go after the big banks that also happen to control our electoral process.

Wall Street is terrified of Elizabeth Warren, which is why they came out in full force against her nomination as Chair of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  She’s currently open to a possible run in 2016, and you can bet that the big money interests in America will be pouring everything they have into Hillary’s campaign coffers to get her elected and protect the status quo.

Warren could bring about real change in America.  We could finally see legislation or even Executive Orders that limit (or better yet, eliminate) corporate money in campaigns.  One way to help increase voter turnout could be for states to propose Constitutional amendments to undo Citizens United – play on the publics’ anger over the issue and help increase the turnout that way.

America has had enough with Wall Street.  Hillary Clinton will not make things better; Elizabeth Warren would.  That’s a pretty simple choice to make.
