With polls hours from opening, Jon Stewart looked at the messages both parties were sending out to their voters on last night’s episode of The Daily Show.
A segment called “Democalypse 2014: Come On Republicans, Just Go Ahead and Take Over Already,” showed clips of Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer agreeing that the only reason someone would vote Democratic would be “emotion.”
Stewart responded, “If you’re looking for rational argument about how best to govern, you have to turn to the Republicans,” before showing a GOP ad filled with scary claims about the Islamic State and Ebola both coming to kill us all.
“Move over, ‘Hope and Change,’ and welcome, ‘Vote For Us or Get Beheaded While Pooping Blood!” said Stewart.
