Former Fox News contributor and current 2016 presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee recently said some sexist, and borderline racist, things about Jay-Z and Beyonce, reported Addicting Info.
In Huckabee’s upcoming book, he gives probably the most bigoted and thoughtless description of Jay-Z and Beyonce. According to U.S. News:
Huckabee hardly leaves a celebrity spared in his riffs on the corrosive effects of Hollywood culture, but he saves special scorn for hip-hop’s most famous couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce. Huckabee compared the duo’s 2013 Grammy Award performance to watching “foreplay.”
“My [Huckabee’s] reaction: Why? Beyonce is incredibly talented – gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing. She is a terrific dancer – without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom. Jay-Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?”
Wendy Gittleson of Addicting Info is correct in asserting how Beyonce was worth millions before ever marrying Jay-Z. Remember an R&B supergroup called Destiny’s Child? Beyonce didn’t need to marry Jay-Z to get to where she is. Huckabee still assumes that any action taken by the wife is subject to her husband’s permission.
