What did Rahm Emanuel know? It’s a question worth asking. In a city as large as Chicago, that matters. The Guardian published a shocking exposé that revealed a Chicago black site where police take American citizens and interrogate them without access to a lawyer.
This is a blatant attack on the Constitutional rights of American citizens and, if Emanuel expects to be re-elected, he better have good answers for why this happened.
If he knew, he deserves the People’s judgment for his blatant disregard for the rights of citizens. If he didn’t know, he deserves the political judgment that will come down on him for his incompetence in office.
Neither makes him look good.
