While guest-hosting The Rush Limbaugh Show, conservative writer Erick Erickson said that President Obama’s policy was “designed to humble the arrogant crackers.” He also insisted that the president wants to make America “less safe” from international threats. This is conservative fear-mongering at its best.
Barack Obama believes the United States of America is a destabilizing, arrogant force in the world. We need our comeuppance and we need to be humbled. . . . Barack Obama looks at the United States and sees bad and intends to fundamentally transform it into something good, and in so doing take us down a peg.
