Last May, a detective with the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority (MBTA) Transit Police saved a man from jumping in front of a subway train. The police released the video and the department praised him as a hero. However, they only released part of the video.
The MBTA didn’t show the part where Detective Sean Conway senselessly beat the would-be jumper, Anthony Ferrier. WCVB 5 News investigated the incident, and the results were shocking. Watch.
Ferrier’s attorney, David Milton, said that Ferrier will likely file a lawsuit against the MBTA. Milton added that the MBTA hid the full story and that Conway used excessive force. The MBTA Transit Police insisted that Conways action’s were justified.
