Growing concern for college sexual assault has resulted in new legislation aiming to improve preventative measures in many regions. At a recent hearing on one such bill in Connecticut, state Representative Mike Bocchino, a Republican, joked about rape as though it were a trivial thing.
When discussing the bill, Bocchino made the remark that rapes are rarely witnessed and, if they are, it would have to be a pretty great party.
