Earlier this week, 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) accused the LGBT community of fighting a “jihad” against Christians, Addicting Info reported.
“You look at the jihad that is being waged right now in Indiana and Arkansas,” said Cruz, “going after people of faith who respect the biblical teaching that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.”
Cruz managed to sum up both the GOP’s homophobia and Islamophobia one one ridiculous remark.
