High-wire artist Freddy Nock set a new world record by walking between two Swiss mountaintops — 3,500 meters above the ground.

In less than 40 minutes, Nock walked the 347 meters (1138 feet) between the North Ridge of Piz Bernia and Piz Prievus, which has an altitude of just under 12,000 feet (3,610 meters).

Over the course of the walk, Nock experienced an increase in altitude of 164 feet (50 meters).
