West Baton Rouge police officers left a man to die in a jail cell after tasering him for several minutes. Ervin Leon Edwards was brought in for the “crime” of sagging pants. Although police negligence killed Edwards, his death was ruled as undetermined. No officers were found to have committed any wrongdoing.
