Another Reason to Deny Jeb: Just Like His Brother, “I Would Have Invaded Iraq.”

During an interview with Fox News host Megyn Kelly, potential Republican presidential nominee Jeb Bush answered was asked how he would have responded to the situation in Iraq, given what we know now.

“Knowing what we know now, would you have authorized the invasion?” asked Megyn Kelly.

“I would have and so would Hillary Clinton,” said Bush. “Just to remind everybody, so would everybody that was confronted with the intelligence that they got.”

Kelly pushed, “You don’t think it was a mistake?”

“In retrospect, the intelligence everybody saw – that the world saw, not just the United States – was faulty. And, in retrospect, once we invaded and took out Saddam Hussein, we didn’t focus on security first,” Bush affirmed.

Just like his brother, Jeb believes that mistakes were made in Iraq, but he has little hesitation in saying that he would make them again.
