Jim Bob and Michelle, the parent Duggars, are scheduled to appear for an interview with Fox’s Megyn Kelly tonight. You shouldn’t get your hopes up that Kelly will deliver any sort of pressing interview that holds the Duggars’ feet to the fire for the misconduct of their son Josh, or their role in attempting to cover up his sexual abuse.

Kelly said that she would not be as tough as some viewers may want, despite the news that the oldest son, Josh, molested five young girls, including some of his sisters.

“Nothing is off limits,” Kelly said. “I don’t plan on getting into the specific details about what was done, because my understanding is the victims don’t want to discuss that either.

Instead, it appears that Kelly intends to give the Duggars a platform to defend themselves from the accusations they have faced.

“Bill Clinton was accused of rape,” Kelly noted. “He has been accused by several women of sexually assaulting them. But the fact that a presidential candidate has posed with some random member of the family that’s going through this issue is somehow a problem for the GOPers?”
