Protests Continue Against ALEC’s Death Grip on Anti-Fracking Laws

Tara Linn Hunter, coordinator of anti-fracking group Frack Free Denton, appeared on Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman to discuss arrests made by Denton police in Texas during a fracking protest.

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) sponsored a bill, HB40, that prevents towns from implementing fracking bans. Frack Free Denton’s mission is to inspire a political movement to repeal HB40.
