There have been countless horror stories that have emerged in recent years regarding the treatment of prisoners at privately owned prisons. These detention centers are more concerned about making profits than they are about rehabilitating members of society, and state governments have been all too willing to give them millions in contracts. But a recent prison break has raised the question about whether or not private prisons would be capable of handling escaped convicts.
