Bernie Keeps Taking His Message Right into the Heart of The Solid South: Big Crowds

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is full of surprises. A viable contender, Sanders is burning the campaign trail through the Deep South while still drawing huge crowds. He recently made stops in New Orleans and Kenner, Louisiana. Sanders delivered his message to thousands of southern supporters who received him with cheers and praise.

Here’s Bernie speaking at a Democratic fundraiser in New Orleans. He also spoke at the home of University of New Orleans professor and former candidate for Louisiana’s 1st Congressional District, Dr. Gilda Reed, in Metairie.

Bernie brought the house down at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner to a crowd of 4,500.
