Preventable medical errors are now the third leading cause of death in the United States. Some of these are due to doctor error, while others are due to negligence on behalf of Big Pharma and medical device manufacturers. In the last few years, a new product called Bair Hugger warming blanket has been popping up in hospitals that we’re now finding out is leading to a rapid increase in staph infections. Things have gotten so bad that the inventor of this product has now said that it shouldn’t be used – after he made millions of dollars, of course.
