Vice President Dick Cheney is very critical of President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, even though he has absolutely no idea what the deal says or what the effects of it will really be.
“With the removal of restrictions on Iran’s ballistic missile program, this agreement will give Iran the means to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S. homeland,” said Cheney while appearing at the American Enterprise Institute.
“I know of no nation in history that has agreed to guarantee that the means of its own destruction will be in the hands of another nation, particularly one that is hostile,” said Cheney.
“This deal gives Tehran the means to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S. homeland,” he said. “It threatens the security of our Arab allies across the Middle East. It threatens the security of Europe, and it should not be forgotten: This deal has vast implications for the future security of the Jewish people.”
What Cheney makes obvious with all of his windbag bloviating, is that he doesn’t have the first clue about the Iran deal. Each and every point that he makes about the president’s nuclear deal is just wrong and misguided. Expert after expert, by one report as many as 75, have reviewed the deal and find that it is “vitally important”.
Cheney is merely keeping up the Republican tradition of opposing Obama on absolutely everything he does, even if it means putting the country at risk in the process.
