The campaign of Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is suffering from slowed fundraising, and the candidate is being forced to cut his staff’s salaries.

Bush’s campaign was once mammoth-sized, but as Bush struggles in the polls, his contributions are beginning to dry up. His campaign was one of the biggest spending campaigns in the Republican race. Staffers at all levels are feeling the cuts, including small cuts of $12 a week to chiefs who received a pay cut of $75,000.

Voters and Bush supporters are beginning to realize that the campaign and candidate are suffering. “We’ve reached one million people and we’re in fifth place nationally?” said one Bush supporter. “I trust the campaign. I just don’t know about the voters. It’s like the more Jeb is out there, the less well he does.”

Republicans thought Bush would be a lock for the Republican presidential nomination, but his short temper, public gaffes, and rivalry with Donald Trump have hurt him immensely. Nothing short of a miracle can bring Bush back.
