Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli, the executive that raised the price of Daraprim by 5,000 percent, complained on Twitter about how Bernie Sanders gave away a donation made by the CEO. Twitter responded angrily.
Despite the backlash, Shkreli kept going and said that he was “furious” and so angry at Sanders that he “could punch a wall.” That was the wrong thing to do as Sanders’ supporters on Twitter launched a volley of angry and trolling tweets at the Pharma Bro.
@MartinShkreli I’d suggest that you take a “chill pill” but they cost like $950 now

@MartinShkreli @BernieSanders That’s so cute. Perhaps you could redirect that anger to being useful to this world? — Mark Blacknell (@Blacknell) October 18, 2015
