In a new op-ed in The Washington Post, former Chief of Staff to President Obama William Daley says that the moment John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate is the moment that the GOP descended into complete obscurity. Palin helped usher in the worst of the worst of the Party, and it sent a message to the Party’s leadership that they had completely lost control.
