Bill Maher has taken a lot of flak over his comments about radical Islam. However, with incidents like what happened in Bangladesh, it makes him look like the smartest person in the room.
Faisal Arefin Deepan, a secular book publisher, was hacked to death and a radical Islamist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Three other people were seriously wounded in a separate attack that struck the country on Saturday.
Ansar al-Islam is the Bangladeshi branch of al Qaeda that claimed responsibility for Deepan’s attack. Another group, the Ansarulla Bangla Team, has claimed responsibility for killing bloggers is separate attacks.
Radical Islam is a violent group of people who want to kill anyone who doesn’t share their exact same beliefs.
