Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is edging out Donald Trump for the lead in several recent national polls. However, most of these polls have been conducted by giant news networks, so does anyone besides Big Media really care?
The latest poll, which had Carson at 29 percent and Trump at 23 percent, was conducted by NBC News/Wall Street Journal. The poll had candidate Marco Rubio at 11 percent. Pre-primary polls are usually skewed because those polled are usually older and don’t reflect younger voters that don’t pay attention to large corporate media.
Ultimately, large media polls don’t matter. The results can fluctuate wildly with one person being on top one month, with another person another month.
