No, this isn’t a joke.

Donald Trump has enjoyed widespread support from white supremacists all over the United States during his presidential campaign, but he has always pretended to be distanced from the racists who love his divisive language. When white supremacy websites posted their full endorsement of Trump, he said that he wasn’t in control of who supported him; when white nationalists made robocalls to voters on Trump’s behalf, Trump claimed that he never asked the group to make the call.

But on Friday morning, Trump re-tweeted a message from @WhiteGenocideTM, criticizing candidate Jeb Bush. A quick view of the original poster’s page shows a cover image that states “Get the f*ck out of my country,” and almost all of the messages he shares are anti-refugee, anti-immigrant and antisemitic.

Here are a few messages that this creep has been spreading (and that Trump tacitly endorses by re-tweeting him):

This racist also loves to share instances of black and refugee crime, as if to illustrate how terrible those who are brown really are. How dare a presidential candidate associate himself with someone so vile and so hateful.

No doubt, Trump will try to pretend that he just didn’t notice the source of his re-tweet, or say that re-tweeting isn’t an endorsement, but as CNN reporter Jeremy Diamond illustrates, he has already said that re-tweeting is endorsing for Trump.

This should be the thing that takes Trump down, but no doubt his racist followers will only rejoice at how “not politically correct” he is.
