Florida Representative and Chair of the Democratic National Committee Debbie Wasserman Schultz found a new way to completely alienate the progressive wing of the democratic party. Wasserman Schultz is currently co-sponsoring a bill that would gut the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by delaying new payday lending rules by two years – and it would nullify the rules in any state that has its own payday lending law – like her state of Florida. The CFPB was a major accomplishment for progressives – why is the chair of the DNC attacking it? Ryan Girdusky, Adam Green, and Scott Greer all join Thom Hartmann to discuss this.
