Results for Florida were not nearly as divided as many had hoped and the victors of the sunshine state have been confirmed. The state which has decided elections in years past has just been awarded to Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side and Donald Trump on the Republican side.

This is a devastating blow to Senator Marco Rubio whose home state is Florida. A win in Florida would have given Rubio a chance at a brokered convention in July. Shortly after Florida was called, Rubio quietly bowed out of the race.

In this winner-take-all state, Trump walks away with 99 delegates while on the Democratic side, both candidates will share a proportionate share of the 246 available.
