As presidential candidate Bernie Sanders tours Wisconsin in preparation for the state’s primary on Tuesday, he has attacked again and again Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and his archaic, repressive advocacy for voter I.D. laws.
In response, Walker defended his laws, saying that they are effective and simple, despite the fact that it has been proven again and again that voter I.D. laws do not prevent any voter fraud. The only thing that these laws do is restrict many low-income and elderly people in the states where they apply.
MSNBC‘s “All In with Chris Hayes” explores this preposterous argument and looks at the purposeful restrictions against demographics who wouldn’t vote Republican.
