Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has proposed a new death-with-dignity law that would legalize physician-assisted suicide across the country.
This law, which would apply to Canadian citizens suffering from debilitating and terminal illnesses, would allow these individuals to die painlessly and quickly, rather than suffering a painful and drawn-out death.
These measures have been approved and legalized in many U.S. states, so for our progressive neighbor, this law is long overdue.
