In this interesting clip, it is uncovered that corporate media and print journalism were used by political elites in order to inspire fear in the American public to grow support for the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan in a way impossible without corporate media.

Dick Cheney seems to have been the mastermind behind this orchestration in which the press would publish a story about information that should have been classified to the public, giving politicians like Cheney a reason to discuss these issues at length on shows like “Hardball” and others.

Doing so meant that the American public were made aware of issues they normally would not have been, turning the tide of sympathy against middle-eastern people and sending thousands of Americans soldiers off to die in a pointless war.
