You know things have gotten bad when a conservative corporate television host takes the side of progressive Democrats over corruption within the Democratic party.
During a Wednesday segment of “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski repeatedly said that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz should step down due to her mishandling of the party during the 2016 election.
“This has been very poorly handled from the start. It has been unfair and they haven’t taken him seriously, and it starts quite frankly with the person we just heard speaking. It just does. You know that.”
While Joe Scarborough listed the ways that the Democratic party has mistreated Sanders, Brzezinski declared, “She should step down. She should step down.”
At the end of the clip, the show played clips of roaring Sanders supporters as Brzezinski said, “look at those people!” If corporate-owned conservatives on MSNBC are finally seeing the truth of the corruption, why hasn’t something been done already?
We have said that Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a waste of space in the party for months now, if only something would be done about her incompetence.
