Thousands of Nurses Strike in Minnesota – News With Ed

Some 4,800 nurses from the Minnesota Nurses Association have started a 7-day strike in Minneapolis, affecting five hospitals in the area. To discuss what is at the heart of this industrial action, Rose Roach, executive director of the Minnesota Nurses Association, joins ‘News with Ed’. Her view is that the striking nurses are being forced to give up their employer’s healthcare benefits.
