On Wednesday, the Bernie Sanders campaign confirmed to NBC that they have yet to release their extensive email list to Hillary Clinton, despite the endorsement which took place on Tuesday.
Sanders campaign confirms to NBC they have not handed over their valuable email list to Team Clinton. No word on if/when that will change.

Though Bernie Sanders has said he will do everything in his power to get Hillary Clinton elected, that may not include hanging over the millions of email addresses of loyal Sanders supporters.
Usually this wouldn’t be too much of an issue as many Democratic donors are already affiliated with the DNC and their own email lists. This election is different though as many of Sanders supporters made sure to keep a cool distance from the official party due to strains between Sanders and DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
These tensions came to a head in December of 2015 when the Sanders campaign was accused of illegally accessing the DNC database after a Sanders employee claims he accidentally did so. As a result, the Sanders camp was barred from using the full database, despite much protest.
Now, Sanders is having a bit of a cheeky power play, possibly hearking back to that tussle with the DNC in December. Likely, Sanders will eventually release the email list to Clinton, as that would reasonably fall under the umbrella of “doing everything [he] can” to ensure her election.
But for now, we can’t help but to give a wry smile to the candidate whose morals and stick-to-his-word-ness have inspired us all these long months.
