Many progressive Democrats are generally happy with the political positions taken by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, particularly as she serves as the last liberal commentator on a formerly left-leaning network that is self-proclaimingly heading in the “Right” direction in recent years.

But it turns out that Maddow, as progressive as she sometimes is, is often little more than an extended branch of Democratic establishment.

This tendency by Maddow to bow to the head honcho of the Democrats was made obvious this week when the MSNBC host went on a near-rant about how a sitting Democratic congressperson is now publicly supporting Tim Canova over Debbie Wasserman Schultz in Florida’s 23rd district.

Though Wasserman Schultz has proven herself again and again to be little more than an establishment henchperson intent on bending democracy to her will, Maddow still saw fit to defend the horrific woman as she nears closer and closer to obscurity.

What is this idea that people cannot disagree, and even advocate against, members of their own party? Allowing corruption to breed just because it wears the color blue is what got us all here in the first place, and Maddow’s team-player mentality is doing nothing to help reform the system which aids and abets people like Wasserman Schultz

Watch.
