Most women, no matter where they’re from, are intimately familiar with the concept of catcalling – unwanted sexual advances from strangers on the street.
Men often feel that they are doing nothing wrong when they shout obscenities or profanity-laced “compliments” at unsuspecting women going about their day, but there has been a growing movement to change that perception.
A Peru PSA sought to raise awareness over this issue in a very unusual way – by teaming up with Everlast, the reality show clip found particularly egregious catcallers, gave their mothers makeovers, and had them walk by their sons on the street.
What follows is a good, old-fashioned lesson in swift, motherly justice.
