In a shocking and childish display, Donald Trump has repeatedly refused to pledge to conceding to the victor if he loses on November 8. Though during the first debate, he agreed to step aside, since then he has walked back that statement substantially.
On Wednesday, his childish and dangerous views reached full evolution and he teased moderator Chris Wallace that he would keep him and the rest of America in suspense about whether or not he intended to carry out one of American Democracy’s most proud traditions.
The day after the debate, Trump took his horrific view one further, declaring that he would only accept the result of the vote on November 8 if it went in his favor.
At a rally in Delaware, Ohio on Thursday, Trump declared:
“I would to promise and pledge to all of my voters and supporters, and to all of the people of the United States that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election — if I win.”
Of course his empty headed supporters cheered, but the rest of us are left with a sick feeling in the pit of our stomachs. Based on the rabid support from Trumpkins, his rigged theories are not only irresponsible, they may get someone killed.
