North Carolina’s constituency may have said “so long,” to anti-trans governor Pat McCrory, but as per the usual, the Trump administration is eager to take the nation’s offensive cast-offs and give them a warm, safe home in the bigoted Trump team.

According to an anonymous source connected with the transition team, McCrory is one of many that Trump has promised to “take care of,” marking some of the most transparent pay-to-play in American politics today.

McCrory, who was ousted from his position as governor after passing an incredibly dangerous and discriminatory law against trans individuals – dubbed the “bathroom bill,” – will no doubt be glad to be once more amongst folks who just “get” his unique brand of discrimination and hatred.

According to the source who spoke to the Charlotte Observer:

“They’re definitely going to take care of him.”

Trump had already met with McCory last week, and though there is no indication of which position the failed Governor will take, it is assumed that it will be something respectable. Either way, we hope Trump keeps McCrory and his ilk far away from any legislating.

Meanwhile in North Carolina, newly-elected Democratic governor Roy Cooper plans to quickly get to work repealing the Bathroom law and putting right what McCrory has wronged.
