Herman Cain is back to remind us that the office of President of the United States of America is really important. So important in fact, that God has spoken to him and let him know that he just might should run for President in 2016.
According to the Washington Post, the pizza-daddy turned politician may have his eye on a 2016 bid for the highest office in the nation. Thanks to his faith, Cain feels that while he doesn’t “know what the future holds, [he] know[s] who holds the future.” And he trusts in God. The statement was made before the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans.
Cain has already shown the nation one failed bid for the office. In that run, he gave us the pearl “9-9-9” plan that was a favorite of every late night pundit. It’s important to remember that Cain’s bid for office amounted to little more than comedic fodder.
Side note: that “9-9-9” plan was pretty much proven to be bunk as it was likely to raise taxes on 84% of Americans.
The last time Cain ran for office he started it with a tease at the GOP conference. Will we see a repeat performance? You know the nightly shows hope the answer is yes.
