Conservative talking-head Laura Ingraham appeared on Fox News Sunday yesterday to discuss the current state of Iraq. Ingraham admitted that Iraq is in a far worse state now than it was before Bush invaded Iraq. Ever since the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) began launching attack in Iraq months ago, memories of the Iraq War surfaced. Many conservatives who once supported George W. Bush are now saying that invading Iraq was a bad call.

“We tried to do all these things in Iraq, now Iraq is worse off,” said Ingraham. “I hate to say that, but Iraq is worse than before we went into Iraq. . . Hussein is gone. That’s a good thing, but what’s left? A more embolden Islamic state.”

The fact that many conservatives have changed their opinion about American action in Iraq should serve as a testament to the massive error that was the Iraqi invasion.
