This morning on Fox and Friends, former game show contestant Elisabeth Hasselbeck discussed President Obama’s strategy against the Islamic State (ISIS) after a second video of an American journalist being killed was released. Hasselbeck claimed that because Obama said he had an understanding of the religion of Islam that the beheadings should not have happened.

“You look back to 2007 and the president alluded to the fact that he thought it would change the world once he was inagurated, that he would be able to understand Muslims,” Hasselbeck said. “And, therefore, crimes like this would not occur, and the world would be safer because he had understanding.”

“Well, years later, it doesn’t seem to be working,” she said. “So his strategy seemed to be himself. Not a good one.”
