During an interview with Stuart Varney on the Fox Business Network, Sarah Palin made the underwhelming announcement that she might run for office again in the future, reported Talking Points Memo. Her motivation being all the “haters out there.”
“Bless their hearts, those, uh, those haters out there,” said Palin. “They don’t understand that it, it invigorates me. It wants me to get out there and defend, uh, the innocent. It makes me want to work so hard for justice in this country.”
“The more they’re pouring on, the more I’m gonna bug the crap out of them by being out there with a voice, with a message, hopefully running for office in the future, too.”
To which Varney replied, “that may be the quote of the day. Good one!”
Sarah Palin is the bastion of ineloquent speech and airheadedness. Ever since appearing on the national stage in 2008, Palin has provided fodder for nonstop satire and punchlines. Palin’s landmark moment was her bombed interview with Katie Couric six years ago.
Ever since McCain’s loss and her resigning as Alaska’s governor, Palin has further devolved into little more than a talking head and reality TV star. The only thing keeping Palin the least bit relevant is network TV’s love affair with Palin’s annoying quirkiness that gets people tuned in. And though Palin is of the party that champions intolerance, she’s quick to blame liberals as the intolerant ones.
“They’re out there playing the politics of personal destruction,” said Palin. “They do want to destroy personally those whom they disagree with. They’re very, very intolerant of those who maybe hold opposing views.”
The point here is that Palin has become a mere TV star who once happened to be a politician. Both of which she is terrible at. Any run for office on Palin’s part would be nothing more than a publicity stunt, and the fact that she’s 50 years-old and uses the word “hater” shows that she doesn’t need to be in office anyway.
