Stephen Anderson, pastor at the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona, has come up with a solution to help end the AIDS epidemic.

His plan to help rid the world of the disease is simple: Kill all the gays.

Referring to homosexuals and bisexuals as “Sodomites,” Anderson, who previously said that “if hating homosexuals makes our church a hate group, then that’s what we are,” directed his congregation to turn to Leviticus, which is never a good sign, telling him that he had found a cure for AIDS.

“Here’s what the Bible says … ‘If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman … even both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.’ And that, my friends, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along”

“If you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running around,” Anderson told the crowd, who seemed to agree with him based upon their laughter at the pastor’s mention of “homos.”

Anderson is no stranger to making ridiculous statements like this. He said in a previous sermon that women should remain silent in the church, not even saying an “Amen.”

“First of all, it’s not for a woman to be doing the preaching. And second of all, it’s not for women to be speaking. Even if they were to have a question, they’re not to ask that question in the church, number one. And number two, even if they wanted to ask questions of their husband, they should wait until they get home.”

Anderson also received a visit from Secret Service after saying he was praying for the death President Obama, and hoped that the president went to hell.

Watch Anderson spew his homophobic garbage, pretending it’s Christianity.
