Another day, another victory for Elizabeth Warren. For months now, the Massachusetts senator has been leading the fight against the Treasury Department nomination of Wall Street banker Antonio Weiss. We can now say for certain that the fight was a success. Over the weekend, Weiss wrote to the President, asking to be excused from the nomination list.
As the White House is now searching for someone to replace Weiss, this represents an enormous win for progressives and the progressive movement. But can Democrats maintain the momentum?
