The Muslim grocery store worker who helped protect and hide hostages during the attack on a Jewish grocery store in Paris last week will be awarded French citizenship.
An online petition calling for Lassana Bathily’s citizenship circulated after his heroic acts, garnering more than 30,000 signatures.
