Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul won the presidential straw poll at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference with 25.7 percent of the votes, the Associated Press reported.
This marks the third time in a row that Paul has won the CPAC poll.
Gov. Scott Walker (WI) finished second with 21.4 percent of the vote, with Sen.Ted Cruz (TX) in third, and Dr. Ben Carson in fourth. Presumptive front-runner Jeb Bush came in fifth with just 8.3 percent.
These results show that the far-right wing of the party is clearly not happy with the idea of Bush as the 2016 presidential nominee, laughably and terrifyingly identifying him as not conservative enough.
