The University of Oklahoma (OU) has one of the largest collegiate athletic programs in the country, namely in football. It’s the cornerstone of OU’s pride. Ever since the video of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) members making racist chants leaked, the bad publicity is hitting the school where it hurts: football.
Four-star recruit to Oklahoma, Jean Delance, committed his intent to play football at OU last week. But when the racist video exploded all over the media yesterday, Delance decommitted from OU, reported Sporting News.
Delance has since announced an offer to play at the University of Alabama, a school ripe with its own racist history.
