Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) scared the living daylights out of a small child in New Hampshire while delivering a fear-fueled speech. Cruz pointed at a mother and child and said, “the world is on fire! Yes. Your world is on fire!”
Realizing his rhetoric frightened the child, Cruz tried to soften the blow by saying “your mommy is here to make sure the world you grow up in is even better.”
Way to go, whacko.
