Desperate for attention, the one-time GOP populist Michele Bachmann has compared Barack Obama to the “deranged pilot” of the Germanwings aircraft that crashed killing over 140 passengers.
In a post on Facebook, Bachmann wrote:
With his Iran deal, Barack Obama is for the 300 million souls of the United States what Andreas Lubitz was for the 150 souls on the German Wings [sic] flight – a deranged pilot flying his entire nation into the rocks. After the fact, among the smoldering remains of American cities, the shocked survivors will ask, why did he do it?
The current administration has been the subject of widespread Republican obstruction in dealing with Iran to negotiate an agreement between Iran and the rest of the world that prevents Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
While other would be mindful of the fact that other parties are also negotiating with Iran to ensure stability and safety in the region, Michele Bachmann, relegated to a whining crier on the outside, can do little but pout and shout from the wings.
This particular attempt is in especially poor taste. The families of the victims have not even been permitted to lay to rest their loved ones and, like a jackal, Bachmann is already ambling as the up to prey upon what remains.
