On last night’s episode of The Late Show, host David Letterman used part of his opening monologue to talk about the 2016 presidential election.
After comparing Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) hair to a bird’s nest, Letterman joked about the Republican nominees as a group:
“Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz – they’re all running for president. Now the Republicans will have to decide which one of these men can lead the Republicans to another crushing defeat.”
The monologue also included a new segment called “Get to Know Marco Rubio,” because Letterman admitted that he knew “nothing about the guy.”
