At the Liberty University commencement speech this Saturday, Jeb Bush proved that he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the evangelical right happy with him. Jeb Bush is determined to please the conservative Christian constituency.

Throughout his speech he gave nods to the congregation he appeared before, suggesting that if he was able to achieve office, he would remember his Christian background:

It can be a touchy subject, and I am asked sometimes whether I would ever allow my decisions in government to be influenced by my Christian faith. Whenever I hear this, I know what they want me to say. The simple and safe reply is, “No. Never. Of course not.” If the game is political correctness, that’s the answer that moves you to the next round.

So, according to Jeb, stating that you won’t allow you faith to influence your decision making in office simply a game of political correctness – something a politician simply panders to in order to get into office.
